What is the Indian Medical Travel Association®?
As the fast-growing sectors of Global Healthcare and Medical Travel begin to influence industry professionals as well as patients, there are often more questions than answers. Indian healthcare providers want to know more about contemporary marketing techniques about how to attract overseas patients to their facilities, Upgrade their services for building a sustainable patient flow, Quality Assurance, and liability issues. Healthcare consumers are concerned about malpractice, continuity of care and a host of timely issues.

Why should I join IMTA?
As an IMTA member you have an opportunity to be associated with a professional and expert body representing in Indian medical travel and networked with key players in global healthcare, to network at the ground level with industry leaders, and to form meaningful working relationships in this rapidly rising sector.
Where is the IMTA headquartered?
The IMTA is registered in New Delhi and will have branch offices in other metros in India and in future outside in India in locations from where the majority of patients come to India. As an Indian non profit association, major decisions and work plans of the IMTA will be discussed and approved by members through email or during Board, Executive Committee and members meetings.
As a non-profit organization, how are IMTA activities funded?
All IMTA activities are financed by membership subscription fees and other sources deemed fit by the IMTA Board and Executive Committee.
Can anyone join IMTA?
